My daughter was part of a church volleyball team. Her team was very young and still came in second in the tournament playing against much older girls. Very proud parent here. To even begin to get the speed I needed I had to max out my ISO (6400) and so the noise was crazy bad, and the lighting was awful. However, it is always fun to step out of my “comfort” zone and try new things.

Anyway after cleaning the noise up the best I could in Lightroom. I exported these two pictures. Which do you think is better and why. I have my thoughts and will share them in the comments later.

Yes, I know it is spelled skies. I like this spelling for this picture, I don’t know why. Jeesh people its just a blog. 🙂

My Dad I and were talking about taking pictures of the full moon.  I figured I would try to get one.   I saw the moon and went to get the tripod, camera, etc and the clouds had rolled in, I was fairly frustrated.   I figured I would try anyway, and I love the results.  This is pretty much out of camera I played with the contrast and the clarity on the moon and that was it.

I grew up around these the bushes that have these Orange berries. I have very distinct memories of many battles being fought with these little guys at our church.  I don’t know why, but whenever I see them I smile and the world seems to be a better place.
