I am just imagining if our Easter decoration where like Woody and Buzz. I have no idea if the Pink bunny is actually named Hoppy or not, but it sounds like a good Easter bunny name :) .

After spending all day power raking (as a LAST resort) and reseeding a big chunk of my back yard.  What do I find… that I had just put out an All-you-can eat buffet for every migratory fowl in the area.

For those that care the code above is lens used, focal length, f-stop, shutter speed, and ISO in that order.

I was a little surprised to see how soft the focus was on this picture. I think that there was a little camera shake or maybe this lens in a little soft at the extremes (most are).

I have had this picture in my head since I made my header. There are distinct differences in the DOF and they are meant to be symbolic. The future is hazy and impossible to predict while the past is crystal clear and linear.

The original plan for this post was to list everything I learned and have gotten out of my 365. I started realized I needed to face the facts that if I ever wanted to get the post up I would have to scrap that plan. There literally is too much, I have learned so much about my camera, about lighting, and photography in general. I have acquired gear lenses, light, cases, modifiers etc, but most importantly I have acquired friends that I probably would have missed out on had I not done this. It has been a truly great experience that I have loved through the good, the bad and the disappointing.

I was trying to get a picture of the “silver” tooth my son was so proud of…. I just didn’t like any of them while I was waiting around for him I started taking pictures of the inside of my umbrella.

I have needing to get this picture for a month or so.  This is the result of a 3 year old being told no.  I think that this particular fit was after being told to stop hitting the piano.

We also had our annual eye appointment my wife got new colored contacts and wanted a picture of a dual colored eyes.  I love that from across the room I can read “DEMO” that was printed on the contacts.  I love the Badzooka (70-200mm f/2.8).

While I know that it not always like this I am always very jealous of my wife who gets to stay home, and share minutes like this with my little angels. Like all my kids the youngest has started in with his love of books.  It hard to so no when he comes up with a book and looks at you with those eyes and says “Peas.”
This was taken guerrilla style I had set up a speedlight to light the room and then I sat across the room and with the zoom waited until the kid forgot I was there and started taking pictures.  The interesting thing was that the flashes didn’t even raise an eyebrow; they must fire a lot in my house :D .

At least that is what the Mayans thought. My wife would be hard pressed to disagree as well. This is my baking ratio 1/3 milk chocolate 2/3 dark chocolate. It just works so well with the sweet/bitter tastes combined with the sweet/salt of most baking.

There is an incredible food blogger here in Salt Lake City. I lifted my recipe for my cinnadodles from them. Here is the link for their recipe (link). Now I’m a little thick and didn’t understand what cinnamon chips were. Therefore, I used about 1/2 cup of red hots and a 1/2 cup of chopped dark chocolate. They are yummy!! I also recommend the pumpkin Nutella bread AWESOME!!
