You know not quite HDR. This is really an attempt to learn masking I need all the practice I can get. So no it is not the greatest picture ever. It is practice.

This is a combination of 2 different shutter speed @ f/22

No, not because of this stupid dog, jeesh what’s wrong with you.

Here’s the story. I had just finished my last stock photography class and was driving home thinking about photography. In my musing I realized how blessed I was that I never have to pick up a camera if I did not want to and was patting myself on the back. Well, just as I got home I realized I had to take a picture today. So I forced myself to pick up the camera and get a picture for today maybe not my best work, but probably not my worst either.

I thought it was funny.

Especially when it looks like a place that vampires live, and I mean the real vampires; not the sparkly kind care about your feelings losers.

Our neighbor had her wedding reception here and it was late so I grabbed a picture. And yes it was hand held.

I spent all day trying to think of an idea, and by the time I came up with something I didn’t have the time to put it together like I would have liked. I think I will revisit this shot again soon.

As a little contest. The first person that can spot and comment what the thing that bugs me the most about this picture gets a cookie from My Dough Girl.

Than I was able to capture here. I wish I was able to snap my fingers, and have the skills that others have spent years perfecting 🙂 I thought that this looked great, my eyes lied the camera didn’t. So I will just say it tasted great.
