One of my photography superheros catch phrases is light the eyes. He would find the same problems with this picture that I do (probably more), but I lit the eyes.

No, not because of this stupid dog, jeesh what’s wrong with you.
Here’s the story. I had just finished my last stock photography class and was driving home thinking about photography. In my musing I realized how blessed I was that I never have to pick up a camera if I did not want to and was patting myself on the back. Well, just as I got home I realized I had to take a picture today. So I forced myself to pick up the camera and get a picture for today maybe not my best work, but probably not my worst either.
I thought it was funny.

Especially when it looks like a place that vampires live, and I mean the real vampires; not the sparkly kind care about your feelings losers.
Our neighbor had her wedding reception here and it was late so I grabbed a picture. And yes it was hand held.

I spent all day trying to think of an idea, and by the time I came up with something I didn’t have the time to put it together like I would have liked. I think I will revisit this shot again soon.
